NEW YORK There was a time when Charlie Sheen's name was almost
a synonym for "party animal."
At now-legendary press interviews for the film "Navy Seals," an
unsteady Sheen answered questions in a manner not characteristic of a
truly alert man.
That was just before his family and friends organized an
"intervention" and persuaded him to clean up his act.
Sheen is 27 now - two years older and, he thinks, somewhat
wiser. Part of the reason is that the actor, who contributed to the
