Starting a business can be an exciting experience. There are
many factors, both from a personal and a business standpoint, to
consider. It's crucial that you properly assess the risks, since
most businesses fail for lack of capital or a properly focused
product.
The following is a checklist designed for people beginning to
think about starting a very small business, usually defined as a firm
with less than $500,000 a year in annual revenues.
Think about the overall concept of the product or service you
want to sell: You have to have a firm idea of what is to be sold and
