It wasn't Frosty the Snowman.
No.
With a thick thatch of dark brown hair, a heavy gold-ball
necklace and portly stomach, it was definitely Elvis. At least
that's what Julia Leventhal, age 6, thought as she put more
flourishes on her Christmas cookie.
"I always think less is more, but not these girls," said Judy
Contino, who recently hosted a lesson on cookie baking and decorating
for some young friends of hers. She taught them how to turn
parchment paper into decorating tubes and to make scarves and hair
from frosting and top hats from mini peanut butter cups.
From rows of plump but plain sugar cookies, she and her
students created charming snowmen.
