Q. We recently purchased an Australian cattle dog that is mixed
with collie. She is 11 weeks old and so far has been a good puppy.
She is learning fast and seems intelligent. Do you know anyone who
has this breed as a house pet? Are they overly protective or mean
and do they shed a lot?
A. I have never seen an Australian cattle dog and know very
little about the breed. I have seen many collies though and know
they are intelligent and gentle. Check Dog World magazine or contact
an Australian cattle dog breeder to get more information.
