St. Rita has landed one of the outstanding young student-athletes
in Chicago. Chris Jackson, an eighth-grader at Queen of the
Universe School, will enroll at St. Rita in August.
Jackson has been named the All-America Eighth Grade Boy for 1994
after being named the All-America Seventh Grade Boy in 1993. The
competition is part of a program founded 27 years ago by Chicago
Congressman William Lipinski.
Jackson is a straight-A student and scored a composite 99 on his
grammar school California Achievement Test (CAT). He received the
top score of 99 on the St. Rita entrance exam.
He also scored 24 on the American College Test (ACT), quite an
achievement for an eighth-grader. It placed ...
