INDIANAPOLIS Colts backup quarterback Jack Trudeau wants to be where he is wanted - and he's beginning to worry that he may not be wanted in Indianapolis.

Trudeau started the first five games last season, winning two, until Jeff George got up to speed after his 36-day training camp holdout. Then Trudeau was demoted to the No. 3 slot behind Don Majkowski.

"When I went from first to third without any satisfactory reason, well, from that point on I didn't see me having much of a future here," Trudeau said. "They showed me how much loyalty they had for me.

Now that the Colts have traded George, their starting quarterback since 1990, to the Atlanta Falcons for a first-round pick next month ...
