As a rabblerouser, Ron Schueler has much in common with Andy of
Mayberry. He's a simple man who lives in the south suburbs, likes
watching his daughters play basketball, enjoys a cold one and is so
freaked by the public eye that he might quit as White Sox general
manager because of it. Usually, one has better luck evoking a
controversial quote from a Ken doll.
But recently, a strange metamorphosis took place. Schueler
turned into a trash-talking, headline-making maniac. You could say
he stuck his Schu in his mouth. A local baseball reporter, noticing
the Sox were struggling and the Cleveland Indians were rarely losing,
