Article: Amundsen's Lim Tackles New Game

Sung Lim never saw a football until arriving in Chicago last summer. He didn't snap on a chin strap until this August. Now the exchange student from South Korea is starting at guard and defensive tackle for the Amundsen Vikings.

Life between the hash marks is still foreign to Lim, who offers insight shared by many football widows.

"Insane. Totally confusing" is how Lim described his first impression of football. "I thought it was crazy. My friends back home would think I'm crazy."

Lim was attracted by football's toughness. He tackles ballcarriers with the same demeanor he tackles life. No sack dances or end zone celebrations. Just quiet focus.
