Article: Chefs Join Forces for Fund-Raiser

Mirth, music and many tasty morsels will be yours for attending the Chicago Fund on Aging and Disability's "Cooks by the Books" charity event at 6 p.m. Nov. 1 in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Inter-Continental, 505 N. Michigan.

Sponsored by Wilton Industries and the Hotel Inter-Continental, this gala will showcase the talents of several local chefs, including Eduardo Zavala of Blue Plate Caterers, David Seweryn of Callhan Gotoff caterers and Harper Leah of the Entertaining Company as they prepare recipes from nine hot new cookbooks. Each of the nine authors also will be there to meet the guests and sign copies of their books.
