Shooting Victims Remembered
In a somber processional, hundreds of police cars, their blue
lights flashing, rolled past national monuments after three fallen
law enforcement officers were memorialized as heroes in "the battle
against evil" in Washington, D.C. A motorcade took the body of police
Sgt. Henry Joseph Daly to its final resting place in Arlington
National Cemetery as memorial services were held in Virginia for
Daly, 51, and in Maryland for FBI Agent Michael John Miller, 41.
Also remembered was the third law enforcement officer, FBI Agent
Martha Dixon Martinez, 35, also slain Tuesday when 25-year-old Bennie
Lee Lawson walked into the police headquarters' third-floor offices
