W BBM-FM (96.3), the teen-oriented dance music station, has agreed to
team up with WCIU-Channel 26 on production of a local television
dance show.

Neal Sabin said they are finalizing details of the new dance show,
which is expected to debut next month. Channel 26 will switch from
Spanish-language programming to a general market format Jan. 1.
The dance show will feature Chicago area young people "whose
input will be an integral part of (its) development," Sabin said.
The move harkens back to the origins of "Soul Train," which Don
Cornelius began as a local dance show on Channel 26 in 1970. It
