Bonus clauses are on the way out in the NBA because they count
against the salary cap, but some can be had:
Bulls forward Toni Kukoc: $35,000 if he makes the All-NBA second
team.
Bulls forward Scottie Pippen: $50,000 for making All-Star team.
Pacers forward Dale Davis: $50,000 to $150,000 if he averages at
least 10 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots a game.
Bullets guard Scott Skiles: $75,000 if he ranks among the league's
top five in free-throw shooting at the end of the year; $15 of his
pay is deducted for every assist and the team matches ...
