Here's a reader letter followed by an Easter sampling of odds and
ends off the collector's desk. Call it spring cleaning.
Q. Any hints on how to sell my shuffleboard game? It's 22 feet
long and made by Nation Wide Novelties on South State Street.
A. You need only one clue to understand why shuffleboard games
are not often seen in the shops of jukebox dealers and vintage
rec-room equipment specialists. "How many dealers have 22 feet of
floor space to give one game?" asks Wally Nekyha of Four Seasons
Amusements, 109 S. Bloomingdale Rd. in Bloomingdale (708-893-3456).
Nekyha says your circa-1950s game was particularly big in Milwaukee
