From the time it was introduced in France, during the reign of King Louis XV (1710-1774), the Rococo styles in decorative arts and architecture, have never lost their popularity. And they have never stopped being reproduced.

Depending on the piece and the dates, even late 19th and early 20th century can cost big bucks. There is something about the look of mixed wood marquetry inlays, ornate carving and gilt bronze, associated with Rococo, that continues to entice buyers.
