When artist and Native American traditional dancer Robert Smith
adorns himself with the ornate beadwork and feathers of his dance
attire, he lays claim to an ancient spiritual legacy. "I dance to
reconnect with the Circle," says the 24-year-old Ojibway; Assiniboin,
