Article: Zorich Gets Some Heat For Being Good Guy

There's a crispness in the air. Leaves are falling. Turkeys are running for cover.

And well they should be, for Chris Zorich is coming.

The Bears' fifth-year right defensive tackle is preparing for Thanksgiving, when his charitable Christopher Zorich Foundation once again will donate bags of turkey-laden goodies to impoverished families in the Chicago area.

Two hundred ninety-seven bags, to be precise. Two hundred plus his jersey number.

Teammates, friends and other volunteers will come to Soldier Field on the Tuesday before Turkey Day, take the bags and weave their way into some of the worst neighborhoods in the city.
