Daniel and Kathy Randolph specialize in making it personal, and
that specialty has landed their Willowbrook-based catalog retail
company among the fastest-growing small businesses in the country.
Personal Creations - which sells unique personalized gifts such
as calendars and mouse pads featuring reproductions of family photos,
and basketball hoop-style laundry chutes with the recipient's name on
the backboard - has grown from a tiny entity begun in the couple's
home to a $10 million company with seven retail outlets.
It has grown in a saturated catalog retail industry where others
have folded, and it recently made Inc. magazine's list of the 500
fastest-growing companies.
