Bottom Line: An inspiring musical journey that follows the
adventures of the fabled Fisk Jubilee Singers.
The history of the African-American experience could be told
simply by tracing the evolution of black music. And in any such
history, the story of the Fisk Jubilee Singers would merit a key
chapter.
The Chicago Theatre Company's stirring, passionately performed
