Marjorie Gleason McCarthy, 85, wife of a former South Side real estate official, died Wednesday at the Hospice of North Shore at Evanston Hospital.

Her late husband, Eugene McCarthy, was with McCarthy Brothers Real Estate Co. for a number of years. Located at 63rd and Western, the company ceased to operate after his death in 1974.
