According to Albert Brooks in "Defending Your Life," the afterworld is a place where you can eat all the rich food you want and never have to worry about clogging your arteries or turning into a look-alike for that Butterbean character.

Me, I'm expecting a little bit more from the next life. Things like universal knowledge, complete enlightenment, spiritual serenity and answers to questions like, "When did time begin and who blew the whistle to signify that the clock should be started? And, what was happening before that?"

The food factor, though, would be a component in a perfect heaven for many people.
