ORLANDO, Fla. George Johnson spends so much time on the road between Tampa and Orlando that his van is like a second home.

Johnson, who commutes more than 180 miles a day between the Tampa Bay area and his job as a carpenter and cabinetmaker in Orlando, says he'd like the option of taking a fast train to work.

But like many Floridians, Johnson is taking a wait-and-see attitude about the state's second attempt at building a high-speed train system capable of whisking passengers between Tampa, Orlando and Miami at 200 m.p.h.
