Peri Gilpin calls the "Frasier" cast, writers, producers and
crew her "second family." They work together, party together and
confide in each other. She misses them when the NBC sitcom isn't in
production.
"We're very close. We socialize a lot. We marvel at how fast
we took off as friends," said Gilpin, phoning from California.
"Don't tell anybody, but `Frasier' is the cushiest job in show
business."
The native Texan from Waco completed her third "Frasier" season
last spring. Since the hit show premiered in 1993, Gilpin has won
big laughs and lustful, longing looks as radio producer Roz Doyle, a
sexy Seattle single who runs the phone-in show hosted by divorced
psychiatrist Frasier ...
