ATLANTA Cleansing everything but the memory of the weekend bomb
attack that stunned the Olympic Games, workers Monday readied
downtown Centennial Olympic Park to be reopened to the public this
morning.
Authorities are focusing their attention on several suspects,
the Associated Press reported, quoting an unidentified law
enforcement official. The suspects, the source said, are not the
people depicted in composite sketches derived from accounts of
suspicious people seen near the crime scene.
Investigators are seeking the man who placed a warning call
from a pay telephone near the park about 20 minutes before the
