He has combed the continents, conquered Japan and maintains
homes in England and Manhattan. So how is it that Sting knows
Chicago like a lifelong native?
"I remember Chicago quite clearly, I promise you," Sting said
while phoning from a stop on his current tour. "The first time (the
Police) played Chicago was at a little club called B'Ginnings (in
1978) out in a suburb called Schaumburg. It was a very cold winter's
night, and the crowd numbered somewhere around five or six people.
We had a wonderful time.
