The ad person who coined the slogan, "You're not getting older, you're getting better," couldn't have come up with a more appropriate compliment for Cleveland.

Those of us who have spent our lives here, and watched as this industrial town rode the economic wave from manufacturing giant to rust belt bust, are amazed by the spectacular changes.

As Cleveland hits its bicentennial, museums, sports facilities, hotels, high-rise office towers, and university buildings are popping up all over. The Warehouse District, once gritty and generally abandoned, has surfaced as a chic address, and blighted neighborhoods on the fringe of the city core are developing attractive housing.
