Buzz Aldrin, one of the first men to walk on the moon, still has a
mind that is focused on the skies above. Many of his ideas, Aldrin's
thoughts of the potential beyond this planet, are brought forth in
his latest book, Encounter With Tiber. This work, which Aldrin calls
"technology projection" rather than science fiction, tells a tale of
space adventure, and mankind's first encounter with an alien
civilization.
Q. How much of Tiber is based on personal experience?
Aldrin: Some, but a lot of it is me trying to predict what will
happen in the future, based on my fondest hopes. I've been there
