Chrysler's U.S. sales up in June DETROIT - Chrysler Corp. reported
slight gains in U.S. sales of cars and light trucks in June compared
with a year ago, but the pace slowed from the previous month when the
results were unusually strong. Chrysler said sales increased 1
percent overall from June, 1995, led by a 2 percent increase in sales
of light trucks. Car sales were down about 1 percent. Year to date,
Chrysler's overall sales are up 13 percent.
