Autumn started at 1 p.m. Sunday. Did anyone notice?
Maybe it was the breezy warmth of a 73-degree day, maybe it was
the picture-perfect sunlit sky above, but it certainly did not feel
like fall Sunday.
"This is the perfect weather to be in Chicago," Bill Weber, a
tourist from Cincinnati, said as he leaned up against the balustrade
along the Chicago River by Michigan Avenue. "It's not too hot, not
too cold. It's just right."
Well, if Chicagoans needed reminding that fall is here and the
bluster of winter isn't far behind, astronomers at the Adler
Planetarium were more than happy to help Sunday.
