Stadium.
Great billows of wafting clouds mark the beginning of every
Milwaukee Brewers home game as thousands huddle over barbecue grills
in the stadium parking lot. It's one of the most unusual party
scenes in all of baseball.
The cookout has been going on for decades outside the '50s-era
sheet-metal park, America's last kitschy stadium. Thousands of
Chicagoans make the trip to County Stadium, 100 miles up the road,
when the Brewers battle the White Sox.
