Anyone who drives in the Chicago area is painfully familiar with
winter road conditions.
Cars with a lot of horsepower and torque can be especially
difficult to maneuver on ice- and snow-covered roads. But if you
haven't read up on snow tires lately, it's time for a second look.
"Technical advances in compounding have enabled us to develop
tires with a level of performance which would have been impossible
just a decade ago," said Nicky Ruccolo, product manager for passenger
