Ever the trend-setter, actress/singer Madonna manages to launch style revolutions in everything she does. Think back: the fingerless gloves during her "Borderline" days, a revived Marilyn Monroe during her "Material Girl" stint, a mainstream dance craze when "Vogue" came along.

So it's little wonder the fashion industry is banking on her Hollywood Pictures movie turn as "Evita" to save the holiday shopping season.
