ruled the roost when it came to making stars and letting women into
their tight-knit "club."
These powerbrokers didn't know what hit them when singer Patsy
Cline came a-knockin' at the door. A woman with a salty personality
and an electrifying voice, Cline achieved legendary status in her
brief career, which ended in a fatal 1963 plane crash.
