What New York Knicks coach Jeff Van Gundy might lack in height
and depth, he usually makes up for in volume.
Whether he's deriding Michael Jordan as a confidence man or Phil
Jackson as a medicine man, Van Gundy inevitably produces more noise
than victories. And the Bulls again got the last word on the Knicks
and their Napoleonic leader Tuesday, 88-87.
"I don't think Jeff Van Gundy has done anything in this league
to be able to speak at the level of someone like Michael or Phil,"
Scottie Pippen said. "He's trying to live off of what (former coach)
