What's wrong with the Catholic League? Three years ago today, there were four Catholic League basketball teams rated among the top 14 in the area (No. 4 Mount Carmel, No. 8 St. Martin de Porres, No. 11 Brother Rice and No. 14 St. Ignatius). Today, there are none.

There's only one Catholic League team in the Super 25 - No. 17 Fenwick. Only five of the league's 15 teams are over .500. None of them reached the final of a holiday tournament (only Leo and Brother Rice even reached the semifinals).
