TORONTO "Do you mind if I sing to you?" Jon Bon Jovi inquires.
Mind?
Well, if he insists. If he must. When a rock star in
sprayed-on blue jeans makes such a simple request, why deny him?
"The song is called `Learning to Fall,' " he says, his sex
appeal cranked up to 10. The tall, muscular music man leans so far
forward on a deeply sunken couch that he's almost kneeling on the
ground.
Talk about setting a mood. Bon Jovi starts strumming the air as
if it were a guitar.
"I had to learn to walk before I crawled. I had to learn how to
fall," Bon Jovi sings softly, casting a spell.
He lets the last note linger in the air, and then suddenly the
