Chris Zorich wraps his big right hand around a rubber bean bag about the size of a baseball and squeezes. It's part of the rehabilitation work on the broken right thumb that has kept the Bears defensive tackle sidelined all year.

Zorich likes to joke that it also serves another purpose.
