Chris Zorich wraps his big right hand around a rubber bean bag
about the size of a baseball and squeezes. It's part of the
rehabilitation work on the broken right thumb that has kept the Bears
defensive tackle sidelined all year.
Zorich likes to joke that it also serves another purpose.
"They sell these things everywhere now because they are supposed
to reduce stress," Zorich said Tuesday at the Palmer House, where he
was a featured speaker at the Crain's Quarterback Club luncheon.
"I've got to be the most relaxed guy in the world."
Don't believe it. Zorich is as frustrated and disappointed as
anybody over the Bears' 0-4 start. Given his status as a Chicagoan,
lifelong Bears fan and ...
