Benita Hill lived the life of a country song in 1997.
In January the Elmhurst native was dropped from her Nashville,
Tenn., publishing company because her songs were not commercial
enough. So naturally, in February Garth Brooks recorded one of two
Hill songs he chose for his highly anticipated commercial release
"Sevens."
In April she was diagnosed with lymphoma.
Hill's cancer is now in remission. And Brooks' "Sevens" will
finally land in stores on Tuesday. The Southern boogie "Take the
