In January the Elmhurst native was dropped from her Nashville, Tenn., publishing company because her songs were not commercial enough. So naturally, in February Garth Brooks recorded one of two Hill songs he chose for his highly anticipated commercial release "Sevens." In April she was diagnosed with lymphoma.
