When Shania Twain was 8 years old, her parents would drag her out of
bed after last call to come on over and sing with their favorite
country bands in the mining town of Timmins, Ontario.
By the age of 21, Twain headlined the Las Vegas-style revue in
the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. And now at 32, Twain
has completely crossed over into rock 'n' soul with ``Come On Over,''
a compelling 16-track release due Tuesday on Mercury/Nashville. The
breakout single ``Love Gets Me Every Time'' entered the R & R (Radio
and Records trade magazine) country Top 50 chart at No. 20, the
highest debut ever by a female artist.
