Maybe you resolved to lose weight this year, but have already
started backsliding. If so, forget dieting, advises weight-loss guru
Sandra Woodruff.
"Whatever the reason for their failure, 95 percent of all
dieters abandon their diets before reaching their goal weight and
soon regain the lost weight - plus a few additional pounds."
Her alternative? Well, you've heard it before: "Concentrate on
developing more healthful habits and weight loss will follow."
Her tips:
Choose low-fat, fiber-rich foods. That doesn't mean extra rice or
pasta at 200 calories a cup. It means more vegetables and fruits.
Eat balanced meals. Don't gorge on bread, pasta and other
