Is there a difference between Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, the
industry leader, and other brands? Torn between creamy and
traditional? In a quandary over the virtues of Stouffer's vs.
Morton? Look no further.
We enlisted a courageous group of tasters to sample a dozen
macaroni-and-cheese dry mixes, frozen dinners and a homemade version.
Our panel was composed of three men, three women, a 13-year-old boy
and a 10-year-old girl.
The unanimous verdict: Homemade won. The tasters said it had a
great melt-in-your-mouth quality, pleasant flavor and a desirable
sweet aftertaste.
