Cold and flu season triggers a gold rush at supermarkets, as shoppers pour orange juice into their carts. Orange juice consumption traditionally spikes during January, February and March, as people try to stay healthy or feel better.

But the sun shines on this juice year-round as more people get the word about its nutrient values.

"Sales spike a bit in the winter, but orange juice is a 52-week-a-year commodity.
