Terri Pinczes made one concession to bowling seven months
pregnant.
She dropped from a 16-pound ball to a 15-pounder.
The pound lost became a ton of pins gained on Monday.
With a new 15-pound Triton Elite ball, Pinczes, 28, just missed
a 300 with a 286 in her third game of the singles competition in the
95th American Bowling Congress Championships at the National Bowling
Stadium in Reno, Nev.
The ABC championships - the largest participation event in the
world - started Feb. 14 and will run until late June. The event
opened to women in 1994. Pinczes' 286 is one of the highest
individual games for a woman in the tournament.
