Ginger Spice may be gone, but she is not forgotten - even by the promoter of the U.S. tour of the Spice Girls phenomenon that spiced up the New World Music Theatre on Monday night in Tinley Park.

"Look, she's still on the poster, the program cover and the T-shirts," said Carol DiNicola, 15, of Oak Lawn, referring to the recently departed Geri Halliwell.

Lauren Culp, 13, of Hammond, expressed the feeling of many about the former Ginger Spice: "She will come back. She has to! She is part of girl power."

That "Girl Power" mantra continues to move Spice Girls fans.
