Two weeks after Apple's big roll-out of the new iMac, it's time
to get some feedback.
The iMac is an all-in-one-box machine that's packed into a
white and teal plastic case, with a contoured mouse and keyboard and
built-in handle.
At a retail price of $1,250, the iMac is loaded, including a
software bundle with Mac OS 8.1, AppleWorks (formerly ClarisWorks),
Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Outlook
Express e-mail, EarthLink TotalAccess, FAXstf, Quicken Deluxe 98,
KaiUs Photo Soap SE, MDK, Nanosaur and the Williams-Sonoma Guide to
Good Cooking.
