Article: Table sets the stage for holiday festivities

I love setting the table at holiday time. It gives me a chance
to bring out all of those plates and objects that I collect
throughout the year at tag sales and flea markets.
Even our breakfast table becomes a feast for the eyes during
the holidays.
Setting a beautiful table is one of my most pleasurable holiday
chores. I never leave it until the last moment. After a day of
cooking, cleaning and making other preparations for a holiday
gathering, I find setting the table a very soul-satisfying,
end-of-the-day activity.
I love that part of my holiday ritual. Tabletop tips:
