Pat Quinn's homecoming to Vancouver was not successful, thanks to
the Canucks' young goalie, Garth Snow. If Vancouver keeps getting
goaltending like that, Brian Burke can stop searching for a No. 1
goalie; he already has one in Snow.
Quinn was excited before the game. It reminded me of when I
went to Boston for the first time after I got fired from the Bruins.
I was with the Colorado Rockies, we were struggling and the Bruins
were winning at the time.
I remember the opening of the game. The crowd chanted, "Cherry,
Cherry," over and over and threw plastic grapes.
I remember hearing one of my players saying, "Come on, guys,
we've got to win this for Grapes," and much to everybody's ...
