Macaroni and cheese is the quintessential comfort food. It's
tender, creamy and warm. It's even easy on the eyes: ivory white to
sunset orange. No wonder it's a favorite of children and adults
alike.
Yet, good as it is, this dish doesn't always fit the bill.
Let's face it. If you're planning a dinner for two, you're not going
to serve macaroni and cheese. It's not seductive. However, there is
