Coach Jeff Van Gundy can resume worrying about his job security now that his New York Knicks have blown home-court advantage, a 2-1 lead and perhaps their best-of-five Eastern Conference quarterfinal series.

No wonder he was rather uninspired after the Knicks routed the Heat 97-73 Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden. He knew his team well enough to perhaps expect a bummer such as Friday night's 87-72 loss.
