An advocacy group for people who suffer from narcolepsy, a sleep
disorder that brings on sudden sleep attacks, is launching a
nationwide campaign called "Wake Up to Narcolepsy" to educate
physicians and those who may have the disorder.
Narcolepsy, a chronic and lifelong disorder, causes frequent,
irresistible episodes of sleep for periods ranging from a few seconds
to more than an hour. These episodes can occur while talking or
performing a simple task. Other symptoms range from muscle weakness
