Eliminate the clutter and wipe up as you go, and you shouldn't
have to spend long, hard days cleaning your house, says Don Aslett,
the author of 28 books on cleaning, including Is There Life After
Housework?
"Too many people are doing "warrior cleaning" - spending entire
Saturdays on their houses. "People hate cleaning because they wait
too long," he says, "and it becomes work."
The biggest secret is "do it now," says Aslett, nicknamed "the
dean of clean" and "the king of clean." "You'd have almost zero
cleaning if you wiped out the shower after you took one and if you
wiped off the stove when you spilled something."
